Coming from the north:

Take highway 76 south from Minnesota highway 44. Go south 13.5 miles to Co. Rd. A26 (Bear Creek Dr). Turn right and go 3.4 miles to Ryumon Rd. and turn left.  Come up the hill and take the first right leading to the parking area and new monastary buildings.

Coming from the south:

Take highway 76 from Waukon, Iowa and proceed north about 12 miles to A26 (Bear Creek Dr). Turn left on A26 and go 3.4 miles to Ryumon Rd and turn left.   Come up the hill and take the first right leading to the parking area and new monastary buildings.

From Decorah, Iowa:

Take Co Rd. W 38 (Locust Road) out of the northwest area of Decorah. Proceed to Big Canoe Road. (Stop sign).  Turn right and proceed east on Big Canoe Rd., which is also County Road A26.  Continue on A26 for about 8 miles until you see Ryumon Rd. to your right.

An alternate route is to take highway 9 east from Decorah to Waukon, Iowa. Turn left (north) on highway 76. Proceed 12 miles to County Road A26 (Bear Creek Dr). Turn left (west) and to 3.4 miles to Ryumon Rd and turn left.  Come up the hill and take the first right leading to the parking area and new monastary buildings.

By Air and Train:

The nearest major airport is Minneapolis, MN (MSP). There is a small airport at LaCrosse, WI. Also Amtrak has a station in LaCrosse, WI (LSE). The only bus transportation to Decorah is a Rochester Express shuttle van that runs between Minneapolis Airport and Decorah.
